Calling all trend-setters, trend-seekers and fashion-conscious!

To celebrate and educate on people’s personal style, Aloha Tower Marketplace has partnered with the Hawaii Fashion Incubator to offer a series of FREE fashion events called First Fashion Friday. There will be free goodie bags from CMC Medi-Spa and prize giveaways. 

Join us on October 3 to catch finale for Fall's latest in clothes, shoes, jewelry, food, music, and more!  

September’s First Fashion Friday will be themed “Transitions” and explore ways to use the same, key pieces in an outfit to change a look and to avoid having to spend a fortune on separate wardrobes. 

Honolulu fashion experts will show attendees quick, easy ways to transition a look from day to evening, from casual to diva-licious, or transforming one outfit into several.  Attendees will also learn makeup tips from a celebrity makeup artist.

Learn fashion and beauty tips from the professionals

September’s First Fashion Friday will host a panel comprised of Hugette Monesinos, Nadine Kam and Wendy Robin; and a fashion show presented by Shane Takeshita of iCandi Hawaii.  They'll be sharing fashion and beauty tips that you won't want to miss.

• Hugette Monesinos, founder/editor-in-chief of Disfunkshion, a Hawaii-based magazine for young women. She also was a fashion stylist for top international magazines.

• Nadine Kam is a journalist and blogger covering fashion, style, beauty and culture.  She has served in many capacities over the past 20 years with the Honolulu Star-Bulletin, from page designer to restaurant critic including her “Weekly Eater” column.  A year ago, she also launched into the blogosphere with “Fashiontribe.”

• Wendy Robin, a Hollywood celebrity makeup artist, is the creator of Studio W of Honolulu and Stargirl Cosmetics. With over 20 years of extensive experience in a full range of makeup techniques, she now shares her talents with all women.
