One of the best times to try any of these is during Gordon Biersch’s “Weekday Escape,” Monday through Wednesday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. or from 10 p.m. to closing in the bar areas.
The “Weekday Escape” gives customers $1 off Gordon Biersch lagers, $2 off all wines by the glass, and $5 martinis, margaritas and mojitos. In addition, southwest egg rolls, tapas, glazed chicken wings, bruschetta, crispy artichoke hearts, signature garlic fries, and a mini cheese or pepperoni pizza are available for $4.95 each during the special hours.
One of the restaurant’s more popular mojitos is made with pomegranate juice, which not only adds flavor to the drink but is known to have antioxidant properties. You can drink to your health as you enjoy this refreshing cocktail!
Gordon Biersch’s Pomegranate Mojito
In a highball glass, muddle 2 lime wedges with 3 mint leaves, torn
Add:
½ oz simple syrup
1.25 oz Bacardi limon
1 oz pomegranate juice
Mix, add ice, then top with soda in a highball glass
Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig
