| Fall 2007 Trends
(1) Slimmed down silhouettes are back on the scene. Bid farewell to bubbles and boof for tailored dresses and streamlined belted trenches.
(2) Tweed pays tribute to royalty and is a true testament to the approach of fall. In Hawaii’s hot climate opt for tweed cuffed shorts or capris paired with lightweight lingerie inspired camisoles.
(3) Super sized sweaters and chunky knits made big statements on fall catwalks. This is and always has been a standard favorite of mine. Trouser style shorts topped off with a cozy pullover commands cool comfort. An oversized cardigan belted over a saucy Sunday best is instant chic.
(4) Top it off! Hats are always hot for fall and keep Hawaii oh so cool. Take this trend to new heights with a wide brimmed hat, a cap pulled low, or scarf wrapped modestly around the head turban style to elude mysterious appeal.
(5) Clash culture and mod color block is making a big statement. Navy and black are a nice option for fall. Try a black belt cinch at the waist with a navy frock. A royal blue cardigan pairs perfectly with a pencil skirt.
(6) Platforms keep you walking tall as this trend stays true yet in a more subtle fashion making sure not to overshadow the dramatic fabrics and hues which dominate the fashionable season that is fall.
(7) Dazzle with paillettes, sequins, and shimmer. Silver and muted shades are easy standbys. Make a shocking statement with pigments like electric blue, neon yellow, and flirty fuchsia.
