Aloha Tower Block Party: 18 Bands for $18

On Saturday, September 18, 2010, Hawaii’s biggest Island music concert promoter Ray Jr teams up with the Hottest Nightclub promoters Artist Groove Network to bring you the AlohaLauLea, Aloha Tower Block Party.

AlohaLauLea is Hawaii’s Largest Music Festival of the Year.  Featuring your favorite Island and Reggae music! 3 stages at 3 joining venues (Waterfront, Don Ho’s, and Gordon Biersch) along Honolulu Harbor’s Pier. 21+ from 7:00pm–2:00am. On the Main stage (Waterfront) Hiyah Fire, Bamboo, Jimmy Weeks, Rebel Souljahz, Kawao (CD Release Party), and 3+ reunites on stage, for the first time in 2 years! On stage at Don Ho’s is Lambs Book, All Natro, Rootikal Riddim, Cease Fyah, Sheriff Brown and Oooklah the Moc, and jamming on stage at Gordon Biersch is Azure, Straight Up, 82 Fifty, Audussy’s (CD Release Party), Hookoa, and Ekolu. Their will also be delicious food and merchandise vendors for consumers to explore.
AlohaLauLea is inspired by the Love of Island and Reggae music by Hawaii’s people.  “We have so much to offer in music and culture we wanted to create an event that displays Hawaii’s talents” says Ray Jr.  “Due to the low economics in Hawaii, the idea of a huge concert for an excellent price was our main priority into building AlohaLauLea. We thought bringing back the “Aloha Tower Block Party” was a great idea since it had a 3 year absence. From that, we built the concept of 18 bands for $18 dollars.”

AlohaLauLea is estimated to attract 8,000 island music concert goers.

General Admission $18. VIP Tickets $48, includes VIP backstage party (Waterfront), Food by Champs Bistro from 7:30pm-10:00pm, no line entrance, exclusive front stage area (Waterfront only) and access to all 3 venues.
